Brett's First Responder's

COMPANY DESCRIPTION: Myself, Todd Korves, and sister in law, Alex Korves, created this foundation in January of 2020. My brother was on his way to work when he was hit and killed by a person fleeing from the police. My brother, Brett Korves, was 30 years old at the time. Brett left behind his wife Alex, their 18-month old son, Brock, and a few weeks after Brett's passing, Alex learned she was pregnant with their second child. Brett Grace  (named after her father) was born on December 12, 2019. After everything started to settle down some, we knew we wanted to do something to keep Brett's memory alive. While Brett was a 10 year veteran of the Swansea Fire Department, he was not on duty when he was killed, which then led Alex to hardly any available resources with 2 kids. Thus, led us to Brett's First Responder's. Our foundation’s mission is to provide support to 1) families of fallen off-duty first responders; 2) families of first responders enduring significant financial hardships; and 3) first responder cadet programs in need of financial assistance.
