Event Details
This bass tournament benefits the St. Louis County Police Welfare Association. The Welfare Association is a non-profit that acts as a support alliance for members and their families in times of need. These funds are used to assist officers with recovery from injury/illness, hold events for fallen officers, and fund collegiate scholarships. 10% of the proceeds this year will go to CHADS Coalition, also a non-profit, whose mission is to save young lives by advancing the awareness and prevention of depression and suicide. In 2022, we had a record year with 98 boats fishing the tournament and donating over $41,000 after all of our overhead expenses. The evening before the tournament we have a dinner and silent auction, and the first 150 anglers receive a free swag bag. We also have several early bird prizes and attendance prizes, and everyone gets a free t-shirt, and breakfast the morning of the tournament.
