COMPANY DESCRIPTION: Hello and thank you for visiting Old Man Bay Signs. My name is Matt Bay, I’m the Old Man of Old Man Bay Signs right here in the St Louis Missouri. I was a firefighter for 25+ years until I was diagnosed with PTSD, now turned sign carver. What started as smaller signs as my therapy, in the last year my craft grew into the only Hand Routed Whiskey Barrel Sign Carver in the nation. My story and my work has also been featured on  ABV Network , My Whiskey Den, Make A Wood Sign.com, Big Hope Farm Podcast with Cas Haley, Makers Figuring It Out, and the City of Florissant's Media Channel. I’ve done whiskey barrel signs for home bars, local bars, a brewery in Jeff City, even a Jack Daniels Squire.  I recently did a collaboration with Makers Mark, Old Elk’s tasting room The Reserve. I’ve made a sign for Heaven Hills Distillery, National Brand Ambassador Bernie Lubbers and I’m getting ready to make one for the lead guitarist of the country band Montgomery Gentry and Brand Builder of Wild Turkey, Bo Garrett. I've done custom logos, motorcycle club logo, city flags, American flags, sports team's, even a KISS sign. Pretty much if you can think it I can make it...OK with in reason but I do love the challenge. My work has also been selected to be showcased at the Kentucky Bourbon Festival  September 17-19 2021 in Bardstown Kentucky the bourbon epicenter.
